Earth Crisis Will Release New Album, Neutralize the Threat

Jakarta - Earth Crisis, New York hardcore band that was well respected because of persistent fighting for animal rights and vegan living, will release his second album since their reunion in 2007 ago.

The album entitled Neutralize the Threat it is their seventh full-length album since Destroy the Machines was released by Victory Records, the record label bearing the bulldog in 1995.

In the new album, Earth Crisis attempts to highlight political issues which they consider less attention from the public. That is about the vigilante-society groups that choose to deny the state law and uphold justice in their own way.

"Some of the groups that inspired our lyrics are the Black Panthers, Bernard Goetz, Los Pepes, RAAD in Ireland, and ALF," says guitarist Scott Crouse quoted from NoiseCreep.com.

"The concept arises when we talk about serial murder, gangsters, and gang members are often discussed in the movies and media. But groups such as [vigilante] is almost never raised. "

Crouse feels that underground music in this era is very sad. According to him, music listeners become apathetic and do not plunge and read lyrics of songs they heard.

"Climate underground music scene has changed from what was for social change into the mainstream music scene mini. These bands play music with lyrics that are safe so they do not run away potential fans, so everything is made easier, "he added.

Do not worry about the pattern of society in such a way, Earth Crisis still incorporate elements politikal and even anger in his songs.

"Unfortunately, I still have a lot of anger. The difference now I think I try to be melancholy. When I was young, I'd rather be a Sith Lord. Now I am trying hard to become a Jedi!, "He said, using the characters in the movie Star Wars as an analogy.

Neutralize the Threat scheduled to release on 12 July through a record label Century Media Records. The album was produced by Chris "Zeuss" Harris who also produced the album Shadows Fall and Hatebreed.

"Zeuss is the man. He produces recordings with the best sound we've ever had. We can not wait to hear you guys! "Said Earth Crisis as reported by Blabbermouth.net.
